Managing Service Groups

This topic provides an overview about Service Groups.

A Service Group (formerly known as SOAP Node ) is a logical entity that contains a set of related Service Containers. Process Platform enables the Administrators to manage the Service Groups. The Monitor Service Group is responsible for activating the Service Containers and for restoring the crashed Service Containers. It also helps in installing and uninstalling Applications (formerly called as ISV packages).
